Founded in 1963

Founded in 1963, Witney antiques has a large carefully selected stock of antique English furniture, clocks and embroidery ranging from the early 17th Century to the late 1840’s.

The furniture on show ranges from 17th Century oak, William and Mary and Queen Anne Walnut, through to mahogany and rosewood furniture from the Chippendale period and furniture made for Regency houses in the early 19th Century. You can see a small but choice selection of English clocks and a large and exceptional stock of the finest English embroidery on the market in Britain.

All our stock is chosen for its authenticity, colour and surface condition and originality.

Each year we hold an exhibition of needlework in October/November and in March exhibit at the prestigious British Antiques Dealers Association Antiques Fair at the Duke of York’s in Chelsea London.
