W.R. Harvey & Co. (Antiques) Ltd specialise in fine English furniture dating from the reigns of Charles II through to George IV and are an old established family firm. Visit our showrooms in Witney, Oxfordshire, and you will find authentically decorated rooms displaying our stock of English antiques to their very best advantage. Indeed, our showrooms are so convincing that you would not be surprised to see Mr D'Arcy standing by our fire or Tristram Shandy stepping in through the door. An outstanding range of stock, backed up by our unsurpassed knowledge of English antique furniture between 1680 — 1830 makes a visit to W.R. Harvey & Co. a necessity for every serious collector.
Items normally stocked date from between 1650 and 1830 and include:

We are normally open from Monday to Saturday 9.30 am to 5.30 pm and other times by appointment.

In 1996 we moved from London’s Mayfair to our charming and spacious Georgian property in Witney, Oxfordshire, where we are now able to display our outstanding stock of period pieces in delightful room settings. We have also recently moved our conservation department to Witney where it is constantly supervised by David Harvey and is a valuable facility for clients.

(Antiques) LtdAfter a very exciting return to the Annual Olympia Fine Art and Antiques Fair in June, Harvey's Antiques of Corn Street Witney are currently gearing up for the next big event. The LAPADA Antiques Fair in September will be held for the second year in a fabulous marquee in Berkeley Square in Central London's Mayfair. Harveys have been busy finding some more exclusive and rare pieces for their stand and anyone wanting a preview could do worse than visit their shop! Succesful Antiques trail for Harveys in Corn Street

(Antiques) LtdThe Thames Valley Antique Dealers' Association 3-day Antiques Trail event proved to be highly successful for Harvey's Antiques who, as well as selling several pieces of furniture and some works of art also hosted contemporary paintings from Art World Gallery who sold over the period and Hannah West who was talking to all the visitors about here extremely accomplished Porcelain and pottery restoration services. All in all a good time was had by everyone and was accompanied by wine and canapes.

Harvey's Antiques Join Thames Valley Antiques & Art Trail

(Antiques) LtdHarvey's Antiques are pleased to announce that from Friday May 14th. until Sunday May 16th. they are participating in the Thames Valley Antiques Dealers' Association Antiques Trail. They will be exhibiting a selection of modern paintings from their colleagues at Art World Gallery along with a presentation on restoring porcelain from Hannah West. All of this will be complemented with recently acquired stock from their own collection. They will also be raising funds for Help for Heroes and you will be most welcome to call in from 10am to 6 pm on any of the three days. This should be an excellent opportunity to see something different at Harvey's showrooms, 86 Corn Street in Witney.

The prizes were judged by Judith Miller, author of the acclaimed Miller's Antiques Price Guides and Earl Howe, President of of LAPADA. STRONG SALES IN BIRMINGHAM FOR HARVEY'S

(Antiques) LtdAs the snow and ice seems to be thawing Harvey's Antiques are busy getting everything ready for the National Fine Art & Antiques fair starting on January 20th. and running until the 24th. of January at the NEC. They will be taking a selection of superb antique furniture and works of art dating from between 1680 and 1830. One of the star items will be a fabulous sixteen foot long dining or banqueting table made in about 1820 and priced at £35,000-. If you have a dinner party in mind then get along to Harvey's at the NEC.

Twelfth Night approaches and the Christmas Decorations will soon be packed away for next year including the electric train set in Harvey's window which has caused much amusement over the past few weeks. David Harvey would like to thank all those many people who came into the shop just to play with the trains and the many children (of all ages) who watched so patiently from outside.
